Daycare/Family First Aid Seminars
The following CHILD EMERGENCY WORKSHOPS were designed for daycare professionals, babysitters, teachers and parents. All seminars include a reference book and either First aid and/ or CPR certification.
1. Standard Child First Aid – 13 hours
Under the New Bill 10, Child Care and Early Years Act, all daycare staff must be trained at the Standard First-aid level with infant and Child CPR, valid for 3 years.
This is one of our most popular programs and we offer the training on site at your location in a full and half day, evening or weekend format, or in our public classes. Each person receives a reference book and two certifications. We tailor this for the daycare professional. Minimum group required for on site training.
2. Infant Child CPR – 3 hours
This certification course CPR HEARTSAVER level B, meets the current guidelines of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). The main focus of this seminar is CPR for infants, children and can include adult CPR (over 8 years). We also review choking rescue and allergic reaction management. Reference book and CPR certificate included on completion.

For over 30 years, we have been offering our unique 3 hour Child Emergency Workshop to new and expectant families right in their homes. We suggest you invite family, relatives with kids, babysitters, grandparents and nannies.
This 3 hour workshop is offered evenings and weekends and we require a minimum of 10 people.

6. The Child Emergency Workshop – 3 hours
This workshop is popular with new and expectant parents. It focuses on basic first aid topics- choking, bleeding, shock, seizures and allergies with an infant-child CPR overview. Focuses on birth to eight years or older children. Includes reference handbook and card of attendance in basic first aid.
